Catherine:
Catherine (she/her) is an Irish creative who currently works across music, museums and media production. Her passions lie in music, film and photography, and as a musician she has performed in venues ranging from The Lexington in London to Ireland’s National Concert Hall. With a wider background in music research, Catherine studied at Trinity College Dublin before moving to London to complete her MA in Ethnomusicology at Goldsmiths, University of London. Looking at connections between cultural memory, place and folk traditions, her work combines cultural research, community engagement and creative practice. Her ethnographic film, Sounds of the Hill, will be screened at this year’s Telegraph Hill Festival. Catherine has worked on further projects across media, journalism and curation with organisations such as GOAL, London Transport Museum and the Institute of Art and Ideas. As a Young Producer, she has enjoyed collaborating with other creatives, developing a large-scale, impactful event and expanding her skills in event production, communications and space design. Catherine is excited to bring this experience forward to enrich her future endeavours across creative production, research and cultural spaces.
Ya’Eesh:
Ya'Eesh is a professional in the arts and entertainment industry, boasting a diverse background and impressive credentials. He has held notable roles as a producer at venues including the Royal Albert Hall, Battersea Arts Centre, and Stratford East Theatre. His training includes stints at the National Theatre under Award Winning Producer Ellie Keel. He is also an alumni of Compulsory Subjects.
In addition to behind the scenes, Ya'Eesh has showcased his talents on stage, with his acting debut with Intermission Youth at Arcola Theatre and appearances in various charity films, music videos, and independent projects. He has also made significant contributions to the artistic landscape through the premiere of a short film, art and fashion pieces at a galleries as well at events like Glastonbury. He is in the process of working on music.
Beyond his work in the arts, Ya'Eesh is a podcaster, hosting "The Intersect" at the Mayor’s Fund for London. He has collaborated with production houses and notable figures such as Hussain Manawer, author of The Sunday Times Bestseller. Additionally, he completed a prestigious internship at the ACLU and actively participates in board discussions, offering valuable insights.
As an auteur, the confidence in his abilities and the commitment to continuous improvement, Ya'Eesh aims to make an impact through storytelling across various mediums, including music, film, theatre, and writing. Stay tuned for his upcoming ventures as he continues to make waves in the industry.
Chase:
Chase Ty, is a multifaceted musician from NW London. With a colourful background centred in music and performing arts, she has been developing her craft from a young age. Studying instruments like the piano and guitar inspired her emotive approach to producing music, developing her melodic sonic signature.
Chase has had the pleasure of showcasing her talents by performing at prestigious venues like O2 Islington, as well as playing piano at high-profile events, such as Alex Murphy and Paul Klein's wedding, featured on Netflix and HELLO Magazine. Additionally, she competed in the ESPN Stadium at the Cheerleading World Championships, showcasing her diverse talents as an athlete.
Chase’s goal is to delve into the art of music composition for films alongside her live performances in bands. In addition to Chase’s creative ventures, her passion for community has inspired her to delve into event production where she can create events for music lovers and underrepresented creatives. Her goal is to create a safe space that inspires collaboration, community and creativity.
Edane:
Gold Prize Winner of Asia Music Competition 2015 in Malaysia, Edane is a classical pianist, curator, and producer who specialises in audio-visual experiences which combines classical music and animation to empower young people, specifically young children. Her commissioned performances include with visual producers, beatboxers and journalists with Brighter Sounds,SoundUK and PINS. She was also the Gold Medalist of 6th Asian Youth Music Competition in Malaysia, top prize winner of RNCM Creative Innovators Award, Factory International Cohort, Help Musicians Artist and International Migrant Ambassador in partnership with IMIX, International of Organisation for Migration and United Nation.
Founder of the daring artists, she is currently touring her award-winning project, "Healing Our Child Within, a multidisciplinary project to raise awareness about childhood trauma, supported by organisations such as Yamaha and Help Musicians. This project has particularly made her discover her love of producing and curating projects to advocate for unheard voices and young people.
Her upcoming project, “Carnival of Animals”, an immersive blend of animation and classical music experience designed for children aged 4-8, made its initial appearance at the Luton Children’s Festival in February 2024 with Fullhouse Theatre as a preliminary showcase. She’s looking forward to developing the project further and taking it on an international tour to instil a love for classical music and animation in children worldwide.
Eleanor:
Eleanor (she/her) is a Wolverhampton born, Engagement Coordinator and Events Producers, now residing in North West London. She works mainly with Young People and communities that are under-represented in music and theatre, producing live arts events that showcase their work and talent. She has a BA Honours Degree in Drama from the University of Manchester and an MA in Applied Theatre and Arts Education from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. Her research highlights class implications within British geography and entangled notions of generational class differences through inter-generational participatory arts. She has worked with venues including the Almeida, The Donmar Warehouse, The Lyric Hammersmith and the Roundhouse. Currently as a Duty Manager at the Kiln Theatre and through the Young Producers programme, Eleanor is expanding her skills in coordinating and managing events in the live performance industry. Her goal is to blend her event management experience with community engagement to create events that are exciting, sensory and imaginative, making them accessible to communities that have less access to the arts.
Eli:
Eli is a London-based Producer/DJ. Alongside running the record label Ruff Time, He’s also had the pleasure of DJing on radio features like 'UK Flava,' Voices Radio, and LDC. Collaborating with solo artists Eli has assisted in producing, arranging, and mixing their tracks. One of my highlights so far was working with Dreambrid Studios to sync two tracks to the film 'Swipe Fever,' produced by Mark Forstater in February 2021. On top of all that, I'm currently the drummer for Rield Wight, where we blend hip hop, indie rock, and ska into our own unique sound. We regularly play live gigs in various venues, including Latitude Festival and The O2 Islington. We are also busy recording our debut EP.
Hannah:
Hannah is a classically trained violinist and music graduate, She has been chosen to perform at prestigious venues such as the Barbican, St John’s Smith Square and Cadogan Hall. She’s allowed her passion of curating and producing, to produce unforgettable gigs at the London Jazz Festival as well as contributing and curating radio shows and musicals.
Her journey took a step forward with being selected to be a young producer at the Hall. The transformative experience has allowed her to take on new strides from embracing leadership roles, navigating budgets and forge connections with industry pioneers.
Richard:
Richard is a versatile creative with a rich background spanning events, film, and music. With a focus on videography and film sets since the age of 16, he has honed skills in video editing and operating equipment like boom mics. He also crafts soulful R&B and Jazz-Fusion music, recording and performing his own compositions under the stage name Mukuza. Richard aims to expand his work on film sets and broaden the reach of his music to a global audience. His future aspirations include travelling the world, engaging in creative endeavours, and fostering meaningful connections with other musicians, artists and creatives internationally. Richard finds empowerment in a mindset that embraces limitless possibilities during the creative process, a perspective that has been reinforced by his participation in the producers scheme.
